Privacy
Short, because there isn't much to say.
What piptracker collects
Nothing. The app does not send your entries, trackers, tags, notes, or any other content you put into it to any server. There is no account, no sign-up, no login, no cloud sync, no analytics, and no advertising SDK. The app needs no network access for the core experience; its only outbound links open this website in your browser.
Where your data lives
On your device, in an app-private database. When you uninstall piptracker, the operating system deletes that database. Your data goes with it — export first if you want to keep it.
Backups, export, and reports
You can export your data to CSV or JSON at any time from inside the app, and generate a PDF report of any period. Exports and reports are created on your device and handed to you to share or store as you choose; the app itself sends them nowhere. piptracker does not back your data up automatically and does not participate in the operating system's cloud-backup mechanisms.
Notifications
If you set up reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. They fire locally; nothing is sent anywhere.
Payments
Nothing in piptracker can be bought today. When the one-time Pro purchase becomes available, payment will be handled entirely by the app store you installed from (Google Play or the App Store); piptracker will receive only a confirmation of the purchase, never your payment details. The F-Droid build has every Pro capability enabled and no billing at all.
Third parties
piptracker embeds no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or social-media SDKs. This website loads no third-party resources either — the fonts are served from this domain.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the update will be visible on this page. Because nothing leaves your device, there isn't much to add or remove.
