Privacy

Short, because there isn't much to say.

What piptracker collects

Nothing. The app does not send your entries, metrics, categories, notes, or any other content you put into it to any server. There is no account, no sign-up, no login, no cloud sync, no analytics, and no advertising SDK. The app needs no network access for the core experience.

Where your data lives

On your device, in an app-private SQLite database. When you uninstall piptracker, Android deletes that database. Your data goes with it.

Backups and export

You can export your data to CSV or JSON at any time from the Data tab inside the app. The exported file is yours; you decide where to put it. Piptracker does not back up your data automatically, and does not run on Android's auto-backup-to-Google-Drive system.

Notifications

If you set up reminders, the app schedules local notifications using Android's AlarmManager. These notifications fire on your device; nothing is sent anywhere.

Payments

If you choose to unlock customization, the payment is handled by Google Play. Piptracker receives a signal from Google Play confirming the purchase; we do not see your payment details. Google Play's own privacy policy covers the payment side.

Third parties

Piptracker does not embed any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or social-media SDKs. The app is self-contained.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the update will be visible on this page. Because nothing currently leaves your device, there isn't much to add or remove.
